Dr Briffa is a nutritional health journalist I've followed for a few years since he wrote for the Observer. It's evidence based nutrition advice. I recently read 2 of his books. I recommend the True You Diet. It is in summary an evolutionary based hunter gatherer diet based on meat, veg, fruit & nuts.
It argues we eat nowadays to many empty calories from carbohydrates especially grains. It's very effective and you never have to feel hungry. It also talks about good sensitivity, especially to wheat and dairy which should be avoided, although there are safer forms to eat dairy where the lactose proteins are broken down, in food such as yogurt and butter.
